To import text script files
Open the timeline to which you want to add subtitles.

Choose Timeline > Import Subtitles > Text Script.

You can import directly from the timeline by right-clicking the Subtitle track header and choosing the appropriate
import option from the menu.

Locate and select the script you want to import, and click Open.
Do any of the following, and then click OK:

Set the font, font style, stroke, and other attributes of the text and bounding box as desired. (See "Text Script
import options" on page 159.)
In the Subtitle Settings area, specify the appropriate track and language of the subtitle, the color group, and any
offset if you need to shift the start point for all the subtitles.
The subtitles are placed on the specified track as individual clips. You can modify any individual clip, changing the
text, repositioning or resizing the bounding box, applying new colors, or changing the character settings.

Text Script import options
When you import subtitles using a text script, the Import Subtitles dialog box lets you format the text, position the
subtitles within the frame and within the bounding box, and specify the track, language, and timecode offset (if
you've trimmed the video since creating the script).
