file's location. Click Clean to remove any old cached files; click Delete to discard the database (not the actual files,
just the pointers to the files). You can clean the database to free up additional disc space. You can delete the database
to troubleshoot a project.
To preview a project
Choose File > Preview to open the Project Preview panel or click the Preview tool

Click a menu, transport control, or navigation button to test your project navigation and playback. (See "Preview

controls" on page 187.)
Note: Projects without First Play actions require you to click Play to start the preview. Adobe Encore DVD warns you if
no First Play action exists. (See "To set disc properties and navigation" on page 173.)

Preview controls
Use the following controls to preview and test your project:
Render Current Motion Menu
By default, Adobe Encore DVD shows motion menus as static until they're rendered. If you change settings for an
already rendered motion menu, the preview of that menu defaults to static until you re-render the menu. The
Transcode Status icon displays the current state of the menu.
Specifies the magnification of the preview.
