16. Power on storage and wait for drives to spin, then power on the server.
17. If setting up an HA/F200, install Redundancy Manager.
To automatically install Redundancy Manager Redundancy Manager:
a. Place the Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) CD in the
CD-ROM drive. It automatically loads the Install program.
b. Follow the instructions offered by the Redundancy Manager
installation screens.
c. Remove the Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) CD
from the CD-ROM drive.
d. Reboot the server.
Redundancy Manager is now installed on your computer. To use
Redundancy Manager, double-click the icon.
To manually install Redundancy Manager:
a. Place the Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) CD into
the CD-ROM drive.
b. Select Settings from the Start menu.
c. Select Control Panel from the Settings menu.
d. Select Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel.
e. Click Install from the Add/Remove Programs page.
f. Click Next from the Add/Remove Programs page.
g. Click Browse from the Add/Remove Programs page.
h. Locate the Redundancy Manager SETUP.EXE file on the
Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) CD.
i. Click Finish from the Add/Remove Programs page. The setup
program begins.
j. Follow the instructions displayed on the Redundancy Manager
installation screens.
k. Close the Control Panel.
l. Remove the Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) CD
from the CD-ROM drive.
m. Reboot the server.
Redundancy Manager is now installed on your computer. To use
Redundancy Manager, double-click the icon.
