Remove the protection.

album does not erase the album
itself. To erase an album, use
"erase selection" in the album
display to select the album to be
erased.
You cannot use "erase
selection" to erase the contents
of an album that contains no
images.
Move the images on the hard
disk drive to a PC or DVD
recorder with DVR and then
format the hard disk drive.
Unlock the SD card.
