LAN Settings for Connecting to a DVD Recorder with DVR
Use this procedure to connect the camera to a DVD recorder with DVR via a LAN (see
"Glossary" p.198). Before you connect the camera to the DVD recorder with DVR, you
must specify the LAN settings on the camera. Note that the settings differ depending on
the connection method used.
Supported DVD Recorders with DVR
You can only connect DVD recorders equipped with the Toshiba "Net Dubbing" function.
Settings for Connecting the Camera to a DVD Recorder with
DVR via an Existing Network
CAMERA NAME
: Enter the name used to identify the camera on the network. You can
GROUP NAME
: Enter the name given as the "GROUP NAME" for the DVD recorder
PASSWORD
: Enter the name given as the "GROUP PASSWORD" for the DVD
IP CONFIG: DHCP (recommended) (see "Glossary"
If you cannot connect using the above settings, set [IP CONFIG] to [MANUAL] and
then specify the settings given below.
IP ADDRESS
: Set a different address within the same subnet and the connected
NETMASK : Set the subnet mask (see "Glossary"
ROUTER : Enter the IP address of the router (see "Glossary"
