Removable Devices
This field lists the bootable removable device drives
(diskette, Zip, etc.) in your system. The first device in
the list is the bootable removable device (if any).

Boot Time Diagnostic Screen
When set to "Enabled," diagnostic information is
displayed down the screen as the system boots. The
default setting is "Disabled."

Floppy Check
When set to "Enabled" this field verifies the floppy type
during boot up; a setting of "Disabled" (the default)
speeds up the boot.

Summary Screen
When set to "Enabled" the POST activity is displayed
down the screen as the system boots. The default setting
is "Disabled."

Virus Check Reminder
When this field is set to "Daily," "Weekly," or
"Monthly," the system displays a virus check reminder
message during boot up on a daily, weekly, or monthly
basis. The default setting is "Disabled."

System Backup Reminder
When this field is set to "Daily," "Weekly," or
"Monthly," the system displays a system backup
reminder message during bootup on a daily, weekly, or
monthly basis. The default setting is "Disabled."

Fixed Disk Boot Sector
When this field is set to "Write Protect" the fixed disk
boot sector is write-protected against viruses. The
default is "Normal."
