Cancelling fax sending
Press the {Clear/Stop} key to cancel sending a fax.
❖ Using Immediate Transmission
If the {Clear/Stop} key is pressed while the machine is scanning the original,
the fax transmission process is canceled immediately. In this case, an error is
displayed on the other party's machine.
❖ Using Memory Transmission
If the {Clear/Stop} key is pressed while the machine is scanning the original,
the machine will not send the document.
If the {Clear/Stop} key is pressed during transmission, the fax transmission
process is canceled immediately. In this case, an error is displayed on the oth-
er party's machine.
Note
❒ If the {Clear/Stop} key is pressed while broadcasting, only the fax to the cur-
rent destination is canceled. The fax will be sent to the subsequent destina-
tions as normal.
