Operate the camera (press the shutter button
or zoom lever).
If [ALL RESET] in [MODE MENU] is set to
[OFF], the camera settings before the power
was turned off remain unchanged. Turn on
the monitor, and turn off the power.
Select a flash mode other than [$].
If you want the flash to fire on a brightly
illuminated subject, set the flash to [#].
The flash does not fire in the high speed
sequential shooting, sequential shooting, AF
sequential shooting or auto bracketing mode.
Set [DRIVE] to [o] in [MODE MENU].
The flash does not fire in the movie mode.
Select a shooting mode other than n.
