Application Methods
1. Set the communications port in the instruction operand to 0 to 7 hex.
2. Use the Communications Port Enabled Flag (A202.00 to A202.07) to perform exclusive control of
the communications port.

Exclusive control to prevent simulta-
neous execution:
Exclusive control prevents another
communications instruction from being
executed until the instruction above is
completed.
