External Control
In addition to using the Planar UltraRes L Series remote control and display, there are other
methods of controlling the Planar UltraRes L Series display externally:
•
Using a serial link to send ASCII commands and to receive responses to those
commands. The same set of commands can be sent over RS-232, USB, TCP or UDP.

Using discrete infrared (IR) codes to program a third-party remote control. See "IR

Using the Planar UltraRes Web UI to access the settings in the OSD as well as some
