Explanation
When the parameter PORT= EIA MODEM is selected
The terminal disconnects if the carrier is lost for two
seconds
The terminal disconnects if the carrier is lost for 60
milliseconds
All data received from the host

sent to the host, or both depending on other
terminal modes
