Entering Text

Screens may display that require you to enter text. This section describes how to enter
text on the touch screen.
Alphanumeric keyboard
Entering alphabetic characters
and numbers

Deleting a character
Canceling or saving your input

Entry area
Displays the characters entered on the numeric keypad. The numbers
within the parentheses ( ) indicate the setting ranges.
Use the arrow buttons [
The items and buttons that cannot be selected are displayed in light
gray.
Touching the toggle buttons switches the values in the selected entry
area from positive to negative, or negative to positive. You also may
use the scroll buttons to move to positive or negative values.
Function
] [ ][ ][ ] to scroll to and select a value.
Symbols keyboard
Select the [Alphanumeric] button, and then
touch the desired characters. Select [Shift] to
switch between lowercase and uppercase
characters.
Select the [Symbol] button to display the
Symbols keyboard, and then touch the desired
character.
Select [Back] to delete one character at a time.
Select [Cancel] or [Save], as appropriate.
