Enable or Disable Intel® TCC Mode.
NOTICE:
x
This configuration is available only when "CPU Power Level" =
"Stable Performance".
When enabled, this will modify system settings to improve real-
time performance. The full list of settings and their current state
are displayed below when Intel® TCC mode is enabled.
x
Enable or disable the processor performance states (P-States).
The setting might be affected by the setting of CPU Power Level.
x
Enable or disable Intel® Speed Shift Technology support.
Enabling will expose the CPPC v2 interface to allow for hardware
controlled P-states.
The setting might be affected by the setting of CPU Power Level.
x
Hyper-Threading Technology is enabled.
Hyper-Threading Technology is disabled.
x
Enable or disable Turbo Mode.
When the operating system requires more power, the processor
can use Intel® Turbo Boost technology to increase the clock
speed.
To use the Turbo mode effectively, the performance modes of
the processor "PStates (IST)" and energy saving modes of the
processor "C States" must be enabled.
The setting might be affected by the setting of CPU Power Level.
x
Release or lock the energy saving modes of the processor.
The setting might be affected by the setting of CPU Power Level.
x
All cores of the processor are active and used.
Number of processor cores used (provided they do not exceed
the actual number of cores). The remaining are inactive and are
hidden from the operating system. This can resolve certain
problems with software.
x
Number of E-cores to enable in each processor package.
Note: Number of Cores and E-cores are looked at together. When
both are {0,0}, Pcode will enable all cores.
It is applicable for stable and realtime scenario, and the CPU
Turbo mode is disabled.
x
It is applicable for better system performance within the state
temperature range.
It is applicable for the best system performance in operating
temperature derated environments.
