Removals and Replacements

Replacement
• Remove the terminators from the new drive and
discard.
Note: The terminators for the bus are built into the cable.
• Secure the mounting plate to the disk drive with the four screws.
• Set the switches to match the drive being replaced
.
• Slide the disk into the bottom of the cage until the spring clip on
the slide is engaged.
• Connect the cables to the hard disk
drive.
• lnstall the front bezel (1035).
• lnstall the front cover
(1008).
• lnstall the left cover (1005)
