LIMITED WARRANTY- IBM SERVICE PARTS (United States and
Puerto Rico)
The lnternational Business Machines Corporation warrants that each IBM Service Part •
will be free from defects in materia! and workmanship under conditions of norma! use
fora period of three months from the date of purchase from IBM or an 18M Authorized
Dealer. Service Parts may be other than new but will be in good working arder.
Should an IBM Service Part fail to be free from delects in materials or workmanship
during the three-month warranty period , IBM will, at its option, repair or replace this
Service Part at no additional charge in the United States or Puerto Rico. Ali replaced
Service Parts will become the property of IBM. This limited warranty does not include
service to repair damage to the Service Part resulting !rom accident, disaster, misuse ,
abuse , or non-IBM modification of the Product.
Limited Warranty service may be obtained by delivering the detective Service Part
during the three-month warranty period to the 18M or 18M Authorized Dealer purchase
location in the United States or Puerto Rico. A dated proof of purchase !rom IBM or
an IBM Authorized Dealer must accompany the claim . Contaci IBM by writing to IBM
