Removals and Replacements
1 015 Memory Card
Removal
• Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• Remove left cover (1
005).
• Remove rear cover (1 007).
• Remove the telephone and telephone plate from the rear frame
,
if
installed.
• Remove the two screws

that secure the retaining bracket

to the rear of the
chassis.
• Touch a system ground (bare metal) to discharge static elec-
tricity,
then carefully remove the memory card from the system
board connector.
Replacement
• Touch a system ground before handling the replacement card.
• Firmly press the memory card into the top expansion slot.
• Position the retaining bracket

on the main chassis and
secure it with the screws

earlier.
• Replace the telephone plate and telephone on the rear frame, if
removed
.
