4 SAFETY MONITORING FUNCTIONS
(1) SCNI Input
Data received during safety communication is used as the safety input SCNI to switch the safety monitoring
function of the robot controller. Up to 8 points can be input. When SCNI turns OFF, the assigned safety monitoring
function will be enabled.

The status of safety input SCNI can be checked on the RT ToolBox3 SCNI signal screen or in the realtime monitor
of "Oscillograph".
・ SCNI signal monitor
Select [Online] -> [Monitor] -> [Signal] -> [SCNI Signal] from Workspace to open the monitor screen.
・ Oscillograph
Select [Tool] -> [Oscillograph] from Workspace, then set "Real time monitor" in the Method field and "SCNI Signal"
in the Data field of the Communication Setting screen.
