▶ Ensure that the locking lever is pulled down.
▶ Push the PSU into its bay as far as it will go (1).
▶ Pull up the locking lever to insert the PSU completely (2).
Ensure that the PSU engages correctly in the bay and is locked in
position. This is the only way to prevent the PSU from sliding out of its
bay and being damaged during transportation.
Concluding steps
▶ Connect the power cord to the new PSU, see
on page 56.
If FAN mode is set to Optimal Speed on the BMC and the PSU is
replaced by hot-swap, only the fan of the replaced PSU will be rotated at
high speed. After hot-swap replacement of the power supply, set the
FAN mode to another mode and, if necessary, to Optimal Speed again.
