Media Type for Print Output

Specify the paper type to be used for print output of the received fax.

Supported paper All Media Types, Plain, Rough, Vellum, Labels, Recycled, Bond,
types Cardstock, Color, Envelope, Thick, Coated, High Quality, Custom 1-8

NOTE
If FAX exclusive paper source is set, paper is fed from the cassette set as the FAX exclusive
paper source.

Setting the cassette for the print output of received faxes
By specifying the media type, faxes can be received on the corresponding cassette.
Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [Cassette/MP Tray Settings]

> "Cassette1-5 " or "MP Tray Setting" [Next]
Select the cassette that you want to use for fax reception.
*1 The cassette tray displayed varies depending on the installation status of the optional paper
feeder.

Select "Paper Size" [Change].

Inch models: [Auto] > [Inch]
Metric models: [Auto] > [Metric]
IMPORTANT
Specify the settings as follows for the cassette that you want to use for fax reception.
Inch models: [Auto] > [Inch]
Metric models: [Auto] > [Metric]

Select [OK].

Set the paper type.
Configure paper settings for fax reception. When selecting the paper type, select the same
paper type as you selected in step 3.
