Loosen the
lock
nut
and
the cam
chain tensioner
setting
boll
The
cam
chain
will be
a\ltomatically
tensioned
properly
when
the settling bolt is
loose11ed.
4.
Tighten the
setting
boil
and secure
with the
lock nul

ENGINE
OIL
Checking oil
level

Insert
the oil level gauge (oil filler cap) into the right
engine crankcase
to
determine
the
oil
level in
the
crankcase. Oil should
be
up
10
the upper
level mark on
the
gauge.
If
the level is low
,
add oil to the crankcase.
Do not screw in the gauge \vhen measuring the oil
level
Changing
oil

Warm up
lhe
engine
,
stop
the
engine and remove
the
oil
filler
cap.
2.
Remove
the
drain plug from the
botlom
of the engine
crankcase.
Operate the kick starter several times to
drain all oil which may
he left
in the cra11kcase.

plug and refill with the specified
oil
up
