PRESETTING STATIONS
Preset Memory
@ Up to 24 FM/AM stations can be stored in the unit's
memory in any desired order.
Example: To store AM 954 kHz as preset station 3
1. Press the tuner (FM/AM) function button
and select AM band, then use the fast
forward and fast reverse buttons to tune in
954 kHz.
. Press the START button.
. While the indicator is flashing, use the fast
forward and fast reverse buttons to select
the memory channel into which you wish to
store the station.
. Press the START button.
The memory channel number will begin flashing
faster, indicating that the number has been stored
in memory. About two seconds later, the unit will
return to continue reception of the selected chan-
nel,
Station Call
Example: To call up the station broadcasting at AM 954
kHz, which was stored in memory as preset station 3
{see above).
Press the tuner (FM/AM) function button
several times to set to STATION.
@ This operation is not necessary when using the
remote control unit.
. Use the fast forward and fast reverse
buttons to select the preset station number
of the station you wish to listen to. When
using the remote control unit, press the
STATION button.
NOTES:
@
The ON/OFF setting of the MONO
button is also
stored together with each station preset in memory.
If a new station is stored in a preset channel that has
already been used to store a station, the previously
stored station will be erased and replaced by the
newly selected station.
