CHANGING THE DISPLAY
With the power turned ON, press the DISPLAY/
CLOCK ADJ button.
Each time the button is pressed, the display changes in
accordance with the current function.

If the current time or elapsed recording time displays
have been selected, pressing other operation but-
tons may cause the display to be temporarily can-
celed, but it will reappear about ten seconds later.
@ The elapsed recording time display is shown in the
format HOURS:MINUTES.
@ The total playing time display when using pro-
grammed CD playback shows either the program
steps or the total playing time.

USING AN ADDITIONAL
CD PLAYER
A Pioneer CD player equipped with CD II Control input
jack can be connected to the unit, allowing you to use
the deck receiver's remote control unit to control basic
functions of the additional CD player.

1. Refer to [P.7] regarding how to connect the
additional CD player.
2. Press the AUX/CD Il button.
3. To control the CD player, use the deck
receiver's remote control unit (CD control
buttons) or the remote control unit accom-
panying the CD player.

For information regarding CD player operation, con-
Sult the operating instructions accompanying your
CD player.
@® ifthe AUX/CD I! button ts not pressed, the additional
CD player cannot be controlled with the remote con-
trol unit.
@
When using an additional CD player, the deck
receiver's remote signal sensor will operate as the
signal sensor for the CD player as well; as a result,
point the remote control unit at the deck receiver
when operating the CD player.
@
The DISC select button, MODE button, BEST button,
PREVIOUS button, HI-LITE button, and CD II play but-
ton will operate when a file-type CD player is con-
nected. For details consult the operating instructions
of your file-type CD player (for XR-Q150).
