SETTING THE CLOCK
@ This clock provides a 24 hour display.
Example: Setting the clock to 18:40
1. With the power turned OFF, press the
DISPLAY/CLOCK ADJ button.
@ ifthe time display is flashing, press the DISPLAY/
CLOCK ADJ button.
@ Ifthe time display is not flashing (when resetting
the time after it was previously set), hold the DIS-
PLAY/CLOCK ADJ button depressed for four or
more seconds.
2. Use the fast-forward and fast-reverse
buttons to set the "Hour" digits.
3. Press the DISPLAY/CLOCK ADJ button.
4. Use the fast-forward and fast-reverse
buttons to set the "Minute" digits.
5. To start the clock operating at the time set,
press the DISPLAY/CLOCK ADJ button.
NOTES:
@ The current time must be set correctly in order to
use the timer playback and timer recording func-
tions; be sure to set the time.
@ The clock time cannot be set via the remote control
unit.
@ When the power is ON, pressing the DISPLAY/CLOCK
ADJ button several times will cause the current time
display to appear.
@ if the power cord is disconnected or power is inter-
rupted for other reasons, the time display will flash
when power is restored. in this case, reset the time
as noted above.
