To Listen to a Disc Beginning from
Track 1

One-Touch Slot Loading
1. Insert a CD to the disc insert slot.
@ With the disc's label surface (the side with the
writing indicating the name of the disc) facing
upward, slide the disc gently into the slot. After it
has been pushed into the slot a certain distance,
it will be automatically pulled the rest of the way
into the slot and joaded.
@ When the disc has been loaded, playback will be-
gin from track 1.
2. If a disc has already been loaded, press the
CD function button.

&cm discs can be used as ts; do not an adapter when
loading them.

Only one disc can be loaded at a time. Be sure to
press the eject (CD &) button and remove any loaded
disc before attempting to load a new one.

Do not disconnect the power plug or otherwise in-
terrupt power while a disc in the process of being
Joaded. If the power is interrupted in this way, the
disc will be ejected from the player when power is
restored.
* Regarding the slot indicator:
Lights
@ The indicator flashes while a disc is being loaded,
ejected, or during track search.
@ When a disc is already loaded, the indiator lights
steadily.
m To stop playback, press the stop button.
m@ To pause playback, press the START button.
m To remove the disc, press the eject (CD 4) button
(on main unit only).
m To search for a specific track, press the fast forward/
fast reverse (<< »> ) buttons (on the remote con-
trol unit, press the search buttons (<< »P+ )).
m To advance or go back quickly through a disc, hold
the fast forward/fast reverse buttons (<< » > ) de-
pressed continuously (main unit only).
