8.5 Changing the hook thread bobbin

Steps
Removing an empty bobbin
1. Slide the hook cover (2) downwards.
2. Set the needle to the upper position.
3. Lift the bobbin case flap (1).
4. Remove the bobbin case (7) with bobbin (3).
5. Remove the empty bobbin (3) from the upper part of the bobbin
Inserting a full bobbin
1. Insert a full bobbin (3) into the upper part of the bobbin case (7).
2. Pull the hook thread through the slot (4) below the tension
3. Pull approx. 5 cm of hook thread out of the bobbin case (7).
