11.9.9 Establishing equipotential bonding for the sew-
ing drive
(1) - Earthing point on the control box
(2) - Earthing cable
The earthing cable (2) for the sewing motor is connected to con-
nector (3) for the sewing drive.
Steps
1. Attach the earthing cable (2) to the earthing point on the control

Danger of fatal injury due to electric shock
Unplug the power plug before establishing equi-
potential bonding for the sewing drive.
Secure the machine against inadvertent reactivat-
ing.
