3.7 Design of the charging station
In the lower area
charging station. See section "Mains connection (Page 98)". From here, power is supplied to
the power strings and automation devices as well as other consumers. The protective
elements for the internal devices and the fuses for the power supplies of the dispenser
also located here.
The converters are located in the center area of the charging station behind a cover
Among other things, the converters ensure galvanic isolation between the supply system and
the vehicle.
The automation devices
On the inside of the front door, the devices for measuring consumption are located on the
side under the AC charging line.
Inside front door
The routers for the wireless connection to the backend systems are located at the top behind
a cover. More information about these devices can be found in the section "Routers (Page
53)". The following figure shows the interior view of the door.
