Cause
Water is not drained at all or
too slowly.
Is the water drain hose
installed at the height of 1
m or lower?
Is the water drain hose
lowered?
Is the water drain hose bent
or is it clogged because of
the high door sill?
Is the inner area of the
product frozen?
Is the water remaining in
the drain hose or pump
frozen?
Are metallic substances
in the drain pump such as
coins, or pins causing it to
stop?
Did you operate the washer
without closing the door
completely?
Is the washing bucket rotating
or is the water temperature
inside the washing bucket
higher than 45 °C or is there
lots of water in the washing
bucket after supplying water?
Does it repeat supplying and
draining water?
Is water not controller
properly?
Troubleshooting
• Make sure that the height of water drain
hose is below 1 m.
• Lower the water drain hose.
• If the water drain hose is bent, then alien
substances can interfere with draining.
So, place it on a flat ground.
• Refer to ʻManaging Freezing in Winterʼ.
• Use the warm water at temperature of
50~60 °C to melt it.
• Turn the pump cap and remove alien
substances from the net.
• Close the washer door by pushing it
completely.
• Check if you can safely open the washer
door.
• If the water supply valve is abnormal the
sing will appear. Remove the power
plug and contact the LG Electronics
service center.
• If the water control sensor is abnormal,
the error will be displayed. Remove
the power plug and contact the LG
Electronics service center.
