Eye Detection AF

With the AF method set to [u+Tracking], the camera can focus on people's
eyes.

Select [z: Eye Detection AF].

Select [Enable].

Aim the camera at the subject.
An AF point is displayed around their
z
eye.
You can tap the screen to select an eye
z
for focus.
The entire face is selected when you tap
z
other facial features, such as their nose
or mouth. Eyes to focus on are selected
automatically.
Depending on the [Eye Detection AF]
z
setting, you can choose an eye or face
for focus with the < Y > < Z > keys when
[h] appears after you press the < S >
button.
