Eject Cover Switch open was detected.
Initial Actions
• Ensure that the Eject Cover is down.
• Check the Eject Cover Switch for improper installation.
• Check the Eject Cover Switch connectors for connection failure.
• Check the Actuator part for deformation.

Enter Service Diagnostics
Status Page > hold the Up and Down buttons simultaneously > Run Service Diagnostics >
OK. Actuate the Eject Cover Switch

Check continuity of the Eject Cover Switch. The continuity check is OK.
Y N
Replace the Eject Cover Switch
Check continuity between the Eject Cover Switch and the Finisher PWB
check is OK, replace the Finisher PWB
If the problem continues, replace the Finisher PWB
