4.5.3 Storm Control

4.5.3.1 Storm Control Configuration

Storm control for the switch is configured on this page. There is a unicast storm rate control, multicast storm rate control, and a
broadcast storm rate control. These only affect flooded frames, i.e. frames with a (VLAN ID, DMAC) pair not present on the
MAC Address table.
The configuration indicates the permitted packet rate for unicast, multicast or broadcast traffic across the switch.

This value is restricted to 100-1000000 when the "Unit" is "kbps", and it is
restricted to 1-13200 when the "Unit" is "Mbps".
The default value is 500.
Controls the unit of measure for the queue shaper rate as "kbps" or "Mbps".
The default value is "kbps".
Controls whether the queue is allowed to use excess bandwidth.
Controls the weight for this queue.
This value is restricted to 1-100. This parameter is only shown if "Scheduler
Mode" is set to "Weighted".
The default value is "17".
Shows the weight in percent for this queue. This parameter is only shown if
"Scheduler Mode" is set to "Weighted".
Controls whether the port shaper is enabled for this switch port.
Controls the rate for the port shaper.
This value is restricted to 100-1000000 when the "Unit" is "kbps", and it is
restricted to 1-13200 when the "Unit" is "Mbps".
The default value is 500.
