3. Maintenance
Cleaning the Maintenance Unit and the Left Ink Sump
•
Do not rub too strongly. Do not wipe in areas other than indicated.
There is a possibility that parts may become damaged, deformed, or detached.
If there are parts breakage, deformation, or detachment occurs, it may cause a machine failure.
•
If the Maintenance unit is not cleaned sufficiently, it may cause nozzle clogging. Be sure to remove
the clogging toner and lint.
Open the front cover.
Clean the Moisturizing Caps.
Clean with cleaning applicators thoroughly dampened with cleaning liquid.
