1. Before You Begin
Set the [Limit:] and [Minimum:].
It is required to specify this setting only if [Brightness - Black Substrate] or [Brightness] is
selected in [White:].

Specify (by %) the maximum limit for white ink consumption. (Recommended value:100)

Specify (by %) the minimum limit for white ink consumption.
Recommended consumption when [White:] is set to [Brightness – Black Substrate]: 0
Recommended consumption when [White:] is set to [Brightness]: 30
If you enter a value below "100" in [Limit:], white ink consumption is reduced for images that
consume more white ink than the specified value but not for images that consume less.
If a value above 0 is entered as the minimum value, white ink consumption increases for
images that consume less white ink than the specified value but not for images that
consume an equal amount or more.
Example: A diagram indicating the amount of ink applied when white is set to [Brightness],
[Limit:] to 80, and [Minimum:] to 30
