Configuration overview
Connecting a Bluetooth headset
1. Go to Setting > Accessory > Bluetooth Headset.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is set to Enabled.
3. Press the Scan soft key.
4. Select the discovered Bluetooth device and press the Pair soft key.
Disconnecting a Bluetooth headset
1. Go to Setting > Accessory > Bluetooth Headset.
2. Select the connected Bluetooth device.
3. Press the Disconnect soft key.

Programmable key

Setting > Programmable Key allows you to configure the programmable keys that are on both sides of the screen using
the following settings:

The FON-480 and FON-580 phones can support a Bluetooth headset without the addition of a
CSR Bluetooth USB dongle.
To use a Bluetooth headset with a FON-380 phone, you must connect a CSR Bluetooth USB
dongle.
The FON-280B, FON-380B, and FON-480B phones do not currently support Bluetooth with a
dongle.

Description
Select the programmable key to configure.
When your extension is using the FortiVoice phone system (not FortiVoice
Cloud), select the action to take when the key is pressed:
None: Nothing will happen when the key is pressed.
l
Park: Places the call into the first available call park slot.
l
Speed Dial: Allows you to quickly place a call to an extension or a phone
l
number.
Call Forward: Opens the Call Forward settings to allow you to enable or
l
disable this function and enter the phone number to forward the calls to.
Intercom: Activates an intercom call.
l
Record: Allows you to record a phone call.
l
Line: Shows the status of active calls on the phone.
l
Twinning: Enables or disables the function which allows an external phone to
l
ring along with your office phone, so you can answer the call at either phone.
DTMF: When you are on a call and you press the DTMF key, the system dials
l
the configured DTMF digits.
Shared Line Appearance: Allows you to perform the following actions for a
