Replacing the Cutter

If the tube or label tape does not cut properly even after adjusting the depth and
motion of the cutter, replace the cutter. Also, when replacing the cutter, replace the
blade receiver at the same time.
CAUTION
• The cutter is designed so that it cannot be touched directly, but if it is
handled improperly, the blade may pop out and cause injury. Never
perform any operation that is not described in this manual.
• Do not leave replaced parts unattended. If they come into contact with
the hands of children, they may cause injury.
• When replacing the cutter, be sure to turn off the power.
IMPORTANT
• It is best to replace the cutter after about every 50,000 cuts. (When using PVC tube with
an inner diameter of
• Dispose the removed cutter and blade receiver according to local government
regulation.
NOTE
• The Mounted Cutter Count is counted regardless of the print media being used. Also, any
cutter operations performed while printing with the cutter removed will also be counted
in the Mounted Cutter Count.
