To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

Rangetop Components

Left Front Element Does Not Work

Disconnect power to the range.
Access rangetop components and wiring.
Connect power.
220 VAC present on selector
switch L1 to L2?
Yes
Turn selector switch to HI.
220 VAC present on H1 to H2?
Yes
Disconnect power to the range.
Disconnect and check resistance
between YEL and WHT/RED wires.
37.1 Ohms present?

Right Front Element Does Not Work

Disconnect power to the range.
Access rangetop components and wiring.
Connect power.
220 VAC present on selector
switch L1 to L2?
Yes
Turn selector switch to HI.
220 VAC present on H1 to H2?
Yes
Disconnect power to the range.
Disconnect and check resistance
between YEL and WHT/RED wires.
