Troubleshooting
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

Surface Power On Light Does Not Work

Disconnect power to the range.
Access rangetop components and wiring.
Connect power.
Turn selector switch to HI.
220 VAC present on P to L2?
Replace the power on light.

Hot Surface Light Does Not Work

Disconnect power to the range.
Access rangetop components and wiring.
Connect power.
220 VAC present on RED wire of element
to BLK wire of hot surface light?
Turn selector switch to HI and allow
element to warm up. Turn switch OFF.
Check continuity on element between
ORG or BLU to RED.
Replace the defective element.
