REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL

1. Stand the vehicle on a level surface.

Securely support the vehicle so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
NOTE:
Place the vehicle on the mainstand so that the
rear wheel is elevated.
2. Remove
9 Exhaust chamber assembly
9 Muffler.
Refer to "ENGINE REMOVAL" in chapter
5.
3. Remove
9 Swingarm
Refer to "REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
ASSEMBLY AND SWINGARM".
4. Remove:
9 Brake cable adjusting bolt 1
9 Rear brake cable 2
9 Pin 3
9 Spring 4
at the brake camshaft lever.

CHECKING THE REAR WHEEL

1. Check:
9 Rear wheel
Refer
to
"CHECKING
WHEEL".
2. Check:
9 Tire
9 Rear wheel
Damage/wear → Replace the rear wheel.
Refer to "CHECKING THE TIRES" and
"CHECKING THE WHEELS" in chapter 3.
3. Measure:
9 Radial wheel runout
9 Lateral wheel runout

to
"CHECKING
WHEEL".
