REMOVING THE CYLINDER HEAD
1. Remove:
9 Exhaust chamber assembly
9 Spark plug cap 1
9 Spark plug
2. Remove:
9 Cylinder head
9 Gasket
NOTE:
Loosen the nut to in the crisscross pattern and
2 or 3 stages as shown.
REMOVING THE CYLINDER
1. Remove:
9 Cylinder
9 Gasket
REMOVING THE PISTON
1. Remove:
9 Piston pin clips 1
9 Piston pin 2
9 Piston 3

Do not use a hammer to drive the piston
pin out.
NOTE:
9 Before removing the piston pin clip, cover
the crankcase opening with a clean rag to
prevent the piston pin clip from falling into
the crankcase.
9 Before removing the piston pin, deburr the
piston pin clip's groove and the piston's pin
bore area. If both areas are deburred and
the piston pin is still difficult to remove.
