MIDDLE GEAR
REMOVING THE MIDDLE DRIVE SHAFT

ASSEMBLY
1. Remove:
9 Oil seal
9 Screw 1
Attach the hexagon wrench 2.
NOTE:
Loosen the screw clockwise.
2. Remove:
9 Distance coller 1
9 Bearing 2
9 Driven pinion 3
9 Thrust shim 4

CHECKING THE MEDDLE GEAR

1. Check:
9 Main axle 1
Galling/pitting/wear → Replace.
2. Check:
9 Driven pinion 2
Galling/pitting/wear → Replace.
3. Check:
9 Bearing
Damage/pitting → Replace.

INSTALLING THE MEDDLE GEAR

1. Install:
9 Thrust shim 1
9 Driven pinion 2
9 Bearing 3
9 Distance coller 4
