7.2.1 Assembling the power supply cable

Connection work
Description / explanation
1. Cut the cable by a maximum of 32 mm (1.26 in).
2. Strip the cable ends to a length of 8 mm
(0.315 in).
3. Insert the cable ends into the connector in
conformity with the pinout (see "4.7 Pinouts" on
page 40).
4. Tighten the threaded connections with a torque
of 0.06 to 0.08 Nm (0.04 ft-lb to 0.06 ft-lb).
5. Tighten the sealing nut with a torque of
0.4 to 0.6 Nm (0.29 ft-lb to 0.44 ft-lb).
6. Tighten the plug-in connection with a torque of
0.3 to 0.4 Nm (0.21 ft-lb to 0.29 ft-lb).
