The programming of the virtual boundaries, relocation routes and no cutting zone areas is performed
using the respective "STIGA.GO App" set-up wizards. The procedures require the robot lawn mower to be
guided manually by walking alongside it.
Following are the most relevant steps:
1. Follow the robot startup procedure shown on the APP.
2. Guide the robot lawn mower with the joystick to the point where the programming should start.
3. Start recording boundaries or virtual routes by pressing the relevant button.
4. Guide the robot lawn mower manually using the joystick around the entire perimeter or route to be
programmed.
CAUTION:
Comply with the minimum distances from obstacles and the instructions
provided in par. 4.4.
5. Confirm the recording
NOTE: When you have finished programming the virtual boundaries, the robot lawn mower will
go over the entire virtual boundary to check if the programming was done correctly. This step
is necessary for safety reasons and cannot be avoided. It is possible to proceed only when the
robot mower has returned to the starting point of the virtual boundary.
NOTE: To manage different areas of the garden differently, it is possible to program sub-zones
within the existing virtual boundaries.
NOTE: Virtual boundaries must be programmed before programming relocation routes and no-
cutting zones areas.
NOTE: Do not move the robot lawn mower by hand, any manual movement of the robot lawn
mower will require to repeat the initialization procedure.
4.7.9. PROGRAMMING THE RETURN ROUTE TO THE CHARGING BASE
In order to enable the robot lawn mower to enter the charging base, the re-entry route must be
programmed using the following guidelines:
• The re-entry route must have minimum length of 5 m.
• The segment ending at the charging base must be at least 5 m long, straight and aligned with the
centre of the charging base, (it can coincide with the entire return route).
• The starting point of the re-entry route must be within the virtual boundary, to allow the robot lawn
mower to reach it independently.
• The end point will coincide with the charging position of the robot lawn mower.
• Each point on the relocation route must be a minimum distance of 1 m from any obstacle, virtual
boundary or no-cutting zone areas, and must comply with the minimum distances listed in par. 4.4 if
more restrictive.
NOTE: before programming the route to the charging base, it is necessary to program the virtual
boundaries.
Procedure:
1. Make sure that the virtual boundary of the area where the transfer route starts has been programmed,
if required proceed with the initialization
2. From the "My Garden" menu, select the programmed area from which the re-entry route to the charging
base must originate, select create a new connection and choose "Charging Base".
3. Guide the robot lawn mower with the joystick to the point where the programming should start.
4. Start recording the route back to the charging base by pressing the relevant key.
