TESTING THE GFCI RECEPTACLE
NOTICE
The GFCI receptacle is designed to interrupt power
when a ground fault exists to prevent injuries and shock
hazards. DO NOT use the GFCI receptable if the test
below fails. Consult a qualified electrician for repair or
replacement of the GFCI receptacle.
If tripping of the GFCI receptacle persists after a load is
replaced with a known good one (no short circuit), perform
this test at least once a month.

1. Start the generator as outlined in the start up procedure
in this manual.
2. Place a GFCI circuit breaker (Figure 78) in the ON
position.

3. Verify that the status LED on the corresponding GFCI
receptacle (Figure 79) is ON (GREEN).

4. Press the TEST button (Figure 80) on the GFCI
5. Press the RESET button (Figure 81) to restore power
6. If the status LED (Figure 82) is flashing (RED),

7. Repeat the above procedure for any other GFCI
