OPERATION OF THE DIFF LOCK

While the diff lock is a very useful fea-
ture, care should be taken in its use as
misuse can lead to dangerous situa-
tions.
The diff lock should only be used in sit-
uations where traction is lost on one of
the rear wheels.
WARNING
Use low engine revolutions when

using the diff lock.
Do not try to engage or use the

diff lock on tight turns as serious
damage can result.

DRIVING ON THE SLOPE

Do not put the
gear in neutral
on a slope!
WARNING
•
Select a proper speed, and do
not shift the gear.
•
Do not park on a slope. Oth-
erwise, the tractor may slip or
overturn and cause an acci-
dent.
•
Reduce speed and pay special
attention to the speed.
WARNING
•
Do not depress the clutch
pedal when driving on a slope.
The tractor may slide down
and lead to a serious situa-
tion.
•
When starting the tractor up-
wards on a slope, start slow-
ly in low gear with low engine
rpm. Otherwise, the front of
the tractor may be lifted and
cause a very dangerous situa-
tion.
•
You may shift the gear when
y o u a r e n o l o n g e r o n t h e
slope. If you stop on a slope,
apply the parking brake. Oth-
erwise, you may be exposed
to a risk of accident.
