OPERATING TRACTOR AFTER LONG-TERM STORAGE

Keep the following instructions when
operating the tractor after its long-
term storage.
1. Perform the inspection procedures
before operation.
2. Check the tire air pressure and in-
flate the tires if it is low.
3. Install a fully charged battery.
Check that the battery is fully
charged before installing it.
4. Check the fan belt tension.
5. Check all fluid levels. (Engine oil,
transmission/hydraulic oil, and en-
gine coolant)
6. Remove grease from the exposed
cylinder rod.
7. Apply grease to the lubrication
points.
8. Remove the cover from the ex-
haust pipe.
9. Get onto the tractor and start the
engine. To prolong the life and to
enhance the performance of the
engine, idle the engine for about
30 minutes before starting work.

10. Start the engine, release the
parking brake, and check the
brake condition by depressing
the brake pedal. Adjust the free
play of the brake pedals if nec-
essary.
11. Check if the instrument pan-
el and all parts operate correct-
ly while running the engine for a
few minutes.
12. Drive the tractor outside and
check if it is operating properly.
Park the tractor outside and idle
the engine for at least 5 minutes.
Stop the engine and visually in-
spect the tractor. Check if there
is leakage.
13. Stop the engine and check for
leakage. Repair any part as re-
quired.
WARNING
When operating the tractor in
an enclosed area, ventilate the
area to release exhaust gas
to the outside. Exhaust gas is
colorless and not visible, but
is harmful.
