Try on the jeans, and then fold up the
legs at the new hemline, Outer side to
Outer side.
Measure 4 cm (1.6 inch) up from
the hemline and draw a line
with a suitable marker.
Fold up 2 cm (0.8 inch) of fabric, iron the
fold line, and then fold over another
2 cm (0.8 inch) of fabric and iron in
place.
Tip: If the inside leg seam is very bulky,
trim away the seam allowance in the
first 2 cm (0.8 inch) fold.
