Sampling tap

Some machine types are equipped with a sampling point for the suds
solution for analytical purposes in the laboratory. The sampling point
may only be operated by instructed personnel.
Special precautions must be taken when drawing off the sids solution
with the tap:
- Wear personal protective equipment to prevent eye damage, skin
damage, or respiratory impairment.
- Use suitable and safe collection containers.
- If leaks are evident, take immediate action to de-energise the
machine. Remove the effects of the leakage and correct the cause.
The machine can be put back into operation.
The machine must be drained using the drain valve emergency
release.
- Have the suds tapping equipment (tap, hoses, and fastening
materials) checked for damage at regular intervals by trained
personnel. In the event of damage, the suds tapping equipment
must be repaired or replaced.
The ball valve on the housing side is closed across the flow direction
and open along the flow direction.
 Depending on the wash programme, the ball valve and the suds
may be hot and touching them without protective clothing may
result in burn injuries.
