Sampling tap

Some machine models are equipped with a sampling point for suds
for analytical purposes in laboratories. The sampling point may only
be used by trained personnel.
Special precautions must be taken when using the tap to extract
suds:
- Wear personal protective equipment to avoid eye damage, skin
damage or respiratory impairment.
- Use suitable and safe collection containers.
- If there are visible leaks, take immediate action to disconnect the
machine from the power supply. Remedy the effects of the leak and
rectify the cause. The machine can be started up again.
The machine must be emptied using the emergency release drain
valve.
- Have the suds tapping equipment (tap, hoses and fastening materi-
als) checked for damage at regular intervals by trained personnel. In
the event of damage, the suds tapping equipment must be repaired
or replaced.
The ball valve on the side of the casing is closed transversely to the
flow direction and open longitudinally to the flow direction.
 Depending on the wash programme, the ball valve and the suds
may be hot and touching them without protective clothing may res-
ult in burn injuries.
