Three Path options are provided.
[Click] on the PATH TYPE window and select from the following drop-down
list:
PPP
Nautica
Undistinguished
Note: Nautica Paths are proprietary to "Nautica to Nautica" connections.
They include optional data compression and accelerated call set-up
times, especially for Multi-link applications, enhanced security and
ISDN budgeting options.
To Edit or Add a Path after selecting the PATH TYPE [click] the EDIT
button.
This allows a partial match of the CLI. It
allows for instances where variations in
Area Code occur when calls arrive via
different exchanges.
Type {ISDN Number or Telephone Number}
to be matched for CLI checking.
Standard PPP or ML-PPP connections,
using either PAP or CHAP security.
Nautica Paths (Recommended for all
Nautica-Nautica connections).
This filed allows Nautica RADIUS to be
used in conjunction with other
manufacturers systems which may not
fully conform to either the RADIUS
standard or operate link level protocols
which vary from the standard
PPP/PAP/CHAP.
