Fault 7 Motor Over Temperature
InfoCenter Display:
Fault Description
This fault is reported when the motor controller senses that the temperature of the motor is to great.
Circuit Description
Temperature sensors monitor components inside the motor to protect them from high temperature damage.
The motor controller begins reducing the current to the motor when the temperature of the motor reaches the
overtemp region. If the temperature rises to the absolute overtemp region, the cutting unit motor is shut off.
This fault is not produced by a bad sensor.
Note:
A side effect of this fault is reduced reel speed and an increased chance of a motor stall.
